Work in Progress: Aprons for Canopy by Hilton

The last few months we have been working on designing & crafting custom selvedge cotton duck aprons for our friends Canopy by Hilton. The first location for the boutique hotel is in Reykjavík so when they reached out to us to create aprons for their cafe, bistro and restaurant bar, we said yes of course.
The new apron is made from the same selvedge cotton duck that we use for all our aprons from Carhartt but for this one, we decided to change it up & create an apron that had cross-back straps as well as an updated cut that fits the burly and the dainty. Pockets are cut and sewn for bar blades & frothing spoons.
As always, we finished the pieces by using vegetable tanned leather & branded R.T.Co without it taking away from the midnite blue tone.
The hotel opened last week in the ever-changing downtown & will definitely bring new life into the neighborhood. Go check them out if you are in Reykjavík!
